After a long wait I am finally back to do a few more tutorials starting with my Introduction to Dynamesh in ZBrush4 R2. In this two part tutorial, I will be creating a nut and bolt to help illustrate some of the fundamentals of Dynamesh. So kick back, relax and let’s get into it….
BadKing has been steadily growing over the last year but still has a long way to go, which is why we have introduced our Reward System by sharing the ‘Embed Code’ and ‘Share Link’ on the right.
In order for the site to grow we need to start offsetting some of the bandwidth and labour costs required to run the site. Ways to support the site include Purchasing Items from the product section, making a donation via PayPal, purchasing Download Points or simply spreading the word.
In this introduction, we will be taking a look at the overall design of the Nut & Bolt and a quick peek at Dynamesh.

Stumbled across your site while surfing for zBrush stuff… best tutorials I’ve seen, clear, concise, and extremely helpful. Keep up the good work!

Hadn’t realized that Zbrush could do things like that. (I’m still at a very primitive stage of relationship with Zbrush.)
Very well done presentation.

Thanks so much
Just remember, the Nuts and Bolts tutorial is a little old, rather than using Sub button when cutting out your shape make sure you hold down ALT on the keyboard instead. Happy ZBrushing!
