I’m very new to Zbrush, and I’m a frequent Sculptris user. Would anyone care to explain how I would use this? I was hoping on opening one of these on Zbrush and then exporting it as a .obj file to then import into sculptris. But I don’t understand how to use Zbrush, nor how to even place an object into the screen “canvas” thing. If anyone is going to explain, I would greatly appreciate it if you would explain step by step, I really REALLY don’t understand Zbrush at all, so I need a slow explanation if you know what I mean. :>
BadKing
I recommend watching some of BadKing’s beginner tutorials to get a feel for ZBrush, hopefully you’ll feel more comfortable playing around with it.
In the meantime, here is a bit of a How-To:
How to Load a Brush:
• First make sure you have an object on your canvas (http://goo.gl/KOYbv5).
• Head over to the Brush palette (near the top left hand corner).
• Click on Load Brush.
• Navigate to the Brush file you want to load.
• Double click on the file.
Once the Brush is loaded into the palette, use the M key to bring up the Brush menu.
How to Export .OBJ From Brush:
• Select the object in the menu that you wish to export as an .OBJ.
• Open the ‘Geometry’ Tab inside the right hand side bar and open ‘Modify Topology’ submenu.
• Click on the ‘Mesh from Brush’ button (the model should appear on the canvas).
• Go to ‘Export’ (Under ‘Tool’) on the top right hand side of the screen and Export as an OBJ.
Hope this helps

– First make sure you have an object on your canvas.
– Head over to the Brush palette (near the top left hand corner).
– Click on Load Brush.
– Navigate to the Brush file you want to load.
– Double click on the file.
Hope this helps!

Very cool package but I have a question :O how do i use inside z brush? with the insert mesh brush?
BadKing
Thanks so much
Submissions don’t close until 3rd June so the brush has not been built yet and will not be available for several weeks. The Monster Pack will include some IMM Brushes and a few .OBJs and .ZTLs if I have permission from the artists to include them. I’ll be posting more information before the pack is released. Hope this helps
SerratedGrinX
These are bad ass. If I can find my alien/insectoid mandibles, I’ll throw them in. Prost!
BadKing
Thanks mate
Always excited to see new submissions
Azzazel

BadKing

We have been receiving such awesome parts, can’t wait to release the brush back to the community
fallen
I’m about to start my submission, did you want base meshes or high detailed models?
BadKing
This Monster Brush is designed to allow artists to add quick detail to their models so I’m after high detailed parts. The detail can always be polished out by the artist if they wish to make changes etc. Hope this answers your question
Can’t wait to see your submission!
Jason787
